Staff Accountant Job Opening in Bellwood, Illinois - Description:
Growing manufacturer in Bellwood is looking to add an ambitious Staff Accountant to our high performance team. This opportunity is ideal for a team player that is enthusiastic, well organized, detail oriented and possesses a strong drive to meet to the Controller, the primary responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:
All functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
Month-end closing and monthly financial reports
Reviewing financial statements and account analysis
Monitoring daily cash
Maintaining accurate records of all company owned assets and departmental expenses
Payroll functions
Assisting the Controller with special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to create and understand complicated spreadsheets.
