We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic senior accountant to join our CPA firm. Our organization specializes in working with small to mid-sized businesses and individuals in a wide variety of operational services. This includes preparation of complex federal and state income tax returns, tax planning, and consulting. We also concentrate in audits, reviews, compilations, and outsourcing services and other unique projects.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and reviewing financial statements ()
Preparing complex income tax returns (individual, partnership, multistate, and corporate)
Assisting clients with bookkeeping and adjusting journal entries
Providing various accounting and business consulting services
Conducting special projects as assigned

Qualifications and/or Experience:
A Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
1-5 years of recent public accounting experience
Proficient in Quickbooks as well as Microsoft Office Suite (a focus on Word and Excel)
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to perform complex financial analysis
Strong knowledge of internal revenue code, tax law, tax processes and general tax software
