Pentair is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in support of our facilities in St. Paul, MN and Conroe, TX. This Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting our operations leadership team on a daily basis as well as various other financial activities including but not limited to strategic planning, cost benefit analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.

You will:
Be a valued and integral part of a global organization, engaging at various senior levels of leadership
Manage and develop a Financial Analyst through daily guidance and mentoring
Work closely with our manufacturing operations team in Pentair?s Integrated Management System (PIMS)
Uncover and drive continuous improvement opportunities and solutions in productivity and operating results through:
Daily, weekly and monthly reports, ensuring timely & accurate results
Analysis and presentation of monthly budget/forecast to actual variance analysis
Labor Productivity reporting and analysis
Standard costing analysis and daily calculations
Standard costing support and analysis for the global standard cost roll
Supporting the preparation of capital expenditure requests and monitor open requests to ensure timely project completion
Monthly cross functional calls to review excess and obsolete inventory
Grow with our manufacturing operations team and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance
You should:
Have at least 5 years of related finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Have earned at least a Bachelor's degree, MBA or CPA/CMA is preferred
Have an analytical mindset
Be an excellent communicator to various levels within an organization
Have strong presenting skills
Be a continuous learner
Thrive in an environment of continuous improvement
Pay attention to details and have strong reporting skills
Have exceptional planning and budgeting knowledge
Be quick to learn new ideas and concepts, but at the same time have the ability to produce quality work
Build relationships quickly and be able to influence decision makers
Be flexible and be able to work under time constraints and deadlines
We like, but don?t require:
Experience using SAP, JDE, HFM/Hyperion and COGNOS Business Intelligence/TM1
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Cost accounting knowledge
