Software Developer (C# .NET) Job Opening in Troy, Michigan - Virtual Advantage, LLC is a privately held Software as a Service solutions provider of both Mobile applications, as well as enterprise, Web-Based software solutions. We create agile solutions to simplify investigation management for large brands, and we are seeking a Software Developer (C# ) to join Virtual Advantage?s Troy office. This team member will play a key role in evolving the software platforms that VA offers.
Required Skills:
Experience with C# MVC development or relatable languages such as Java, C++.
Experience with Javascript (Jquery), HTML, CSS.
Familiar and comfortable with Kanban or similar agile-style project management.
Beneficial Skills:
SQL Query language skills/Basic Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Familiar with, and understands the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Microsoft Sever Understanding, basic server management.
Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Experience with mocking Databases, Objects,
etc. for testing.
Mobile Application Development.
Knowledge of Git or similar source control system.
Design experience will be considered (Adobe suite).
Core Responsibilities:
Software Development for either Mobile Application or C# Project.
Writing tests for newly added features.
Involvement in project needs and goals.
Working with support to resolve client software bugs, or requests.
Resolve server issues, database errors, or on environments other than our code project.
Communication in a small team, and ability to work with others and accomplishing goals.
Qualifications:
1 ? 3 years of software development experience.
Bachelor?s degree or work experience equivalent.
