Software Quality Engineer Job Opening in Troy, Michigan - Analyze gaps identified by the SYS/SW Quality Assessor, identify root causes, propose countermeasures and track them to closure. Provide SYS/SW development and process consultancy to project team.
Responsibilities
- create the SYS/SW Quality Assurance Plan
- analyze the Project Assessment Report - apply problem solving methodology according to Valeo Standards
- monitor and track preventive and containment actions to closure
- create the Project Quality Report
- contribute, monitor and track peer reviews
- coaching and mentoring project team for process needs

- conduct product and process audits and create audit reports
- create monthly project assessment report
- report to the SYS/SW Quality Manager

Education/Training
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science or Mathematics.
Professional Experience
Experience in Quality (2 years)
Experience in the Software Quality Assurance / Software Development field
Experience with the software development process, systems engineering methodologies, and test techniques Experience in training or mentoring peers in engineering methodologies
Experience in embedded SW/SY development (automotive experience is a plus)
