Dairy-Bakery Division Assistant Job Opening in Lake Forest, Illinois - Job Summary:
Injection molding plastics manufacturer is seeking a division assistant to manage daily tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating finished goods shipments, maintaining equipment records, communicating with customers, maintaining a daily finished goods inventory log, maintaining annual DOT requirements for IPCC trailer fleet, keeping records of IPCC trailer fleet repair and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate with distribution, business units and inventory control department.
Maintain an orderly listing of IPCC trailer fleet nationwide.
Oversee compliance of receiving practices with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
Ensure that all receiving functions that affect the business units and finish goods inventory are processed accurately by verifying purchase orders and ticketing, and auditing the validation and verification reports.
Oversee and participate in the timely receipt and distribution of IPCC deliveries according to Company standards.
Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
Communicate with customer service to ensure on time delivery
Position Requirements
Ability to solve problems independently
Supply chain experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Must be Excel proficient
Excellent communicator
