Construction Accounting Manager Job Opening in Alpharetta, Georgia - Local construction contractor is in search of an accounting manager to join our team.
The controller will work closely with the CFO, CEO, and other departments to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
The Controller is responsible for a variety of general accounting functions such as reviewing general ledger accounts, sales taxes, job costing, and bank reconciliations.
Essential duties include:
Manage accounts receivable (billing)
Assist Project Managers with collections
Assist CFO with job cost reporting
Cash management (deposits, forecasting and bank reconciliations)
General ledger reconciliation
Month end closing
Yearend close and tax preparation for yearly review with accountant
Experience required:
Construction experience required
Experience with Computerease software a plus
