The Corporate Controller is responsible for the operations of the corporate accounting departments for Bridge Commercial Real Estate which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and budgeting and tax compliance.

Job Responsibilities

Manage all corporate accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Policy/Procedure

Preparation of the Budget, Financial Forecasts and Report Variances

Prepare and analyze timely financial statements and management reports

Research technical accounting issues for compliance

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage corporate accounts payable/receivable personnel

Review invoices for accuracy in coding, correspondence, vendor, etc.

Manage vendor maintenance for all new and existing vendors (W9, COI, etc.)

Record and maintain fixed asset purchases and applicable depreciation and amortization schedules

Manage corporate Tax Compliance including Annual Corporate Tax Filings

Qualifications

10+ years of general accounting and/or accounts payable experience

College degree in accounting or other business related field or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in Word, Excel and Yardi

Must have excellent PC skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Strong communication skills and team player; should be able to work well with all levels of employees

Experience designing, implementing and documenting accounts payable and GL processes and policies

3 years management and/or supervisory experience preferred

Must be detail and deadline oriented

Experience with private equity fund administration a must

Must have the highest integrity, strong financial acumen and analytical agility

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred

Must possess ability to innovate and create new processes that add value

Must have the ability to work overtime
