Controller- Growing Technology Company Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - TalentSource360 is currently supporting a client in the Philadelphia market in their search for a Finance and Accounting leader to fill the role of Controller. As Controller, he/she will be responsible for management of all general accounting functions, treasury operations, financial reporting, tax functions, and more. This role will report directly to the CFO and oversee an expanding staff of 4-6.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Consistently producing accurate financial reports in accordance with GAAP
Oversee treasury function to ensure proper use of cash applications
Support CFO in the hiring and development of a strong Accounting and Finance team
Development and implementation of standard forecasting and financial reporting metrics for regulatory and business functions
Oversee implementation of new accounting systems
Support CFO and Executive team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Work with Audit and Tax partners to support and requirements for external filings
Qualified candidates will have a strong background in accounting leadership with hands on expertise running all of the daily accounting functions of a business.
Qualifications include:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field (Masters preferred)
5+ years in leading accounting operations
10+ years professional experience
Active CPA preferred
Experience within rapid growth environments such as start ups
Experience managing the implementation of new accounting systems
Experience working within Public Accounting (Audit or Tax functions)
Ability to thrive in changing environment with common demands and characteristics of a start up organization
