Senior Real Estate Accountant Job Opening in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania - Private real estate management company is currently seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of public accounting experience, a CPA, and relevant industry experience. The position requires solid accounting and analytical skills and the ability to work independently. The firm owns and manages a substantial portfolio of premier commercial and apartment properties with its affiliated companies, and has been in business for over 50 years.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for accounting and financial reporting for each property, each ownership entity, and management companies. The Senior Accountant is responsible for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and supervisory. The position involves regular interaction with Senior Management, Property Management, and an outside CPA firm. The Senior Accountant will assist in annual budget process and perform special financial analysis and reporting projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
3+ years of Public Accounting experience or 5 years of experience (including supervisory) in commercial real estate
Experience in income tax basis of accounting
Yardi or similar software experience
Proficient in Excel
