Senior Accountant Job Opening in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania - Established multi-national manufacturing company looking for a career oriented Senior Accountant, with responsibilities expected to include:
Preparing consolidated financial statements, including subsidiary reporting
Reviewing and approving month end journal entries and account reconciliations
Assisting in analyzing variances and making recommendations for adjustments
Assisting in providing financial information as requested under banking, external audit and tax requirements
Assisting in coordinating year end closing and reporting requirements
Providing direction and supervision to accountants as needed
Work cross functionally with various departments at Corporate
Cash forecasting
Experience & Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting Required; CPA highly preferred, MBA a plus
6+ years of experience, with a combination of public accounting and industry month end closing
Solid experience with financial statement preparation on an individual and consolidated level - Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flows (with foreign currency translation)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Prior experience with ERP Systems, and other data related reporting tools is important. Oracle preferred.
