This established real estate operator with a portfolio of multifamily and senior properties is expanding an in-house property management company and is looking for a Junior Property Accountant. The ideal candidate would be a bright individual who is eager to learn and advance their accounting skills. As a Junior Property Accountant, you will:
- Handle reconciliations, balance sheets, and analytics
- Assist with financial and management reporting requirements
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Resolve accounts receivable issues
- Manage customer and tenant billings
Candidates preferably have experience in a HOA or property management company and will have:
Required:
- AA/AS degree
- Strong computing skills; MS Excel, touch type, 10-key
- 1-2 years commercial real estate experience
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Excellent and consistent accuracy, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Preferred
- BA/BS in Accounting or Business Admin
- Experience in billing, A/R, A/P, customer service, or general accounting
- Previous experience with one of RealPage / Yardi / MRI
