Business Intelligence Analytic Specialist Job Opening in Irvine, California - EDI Health Group is looking for a Business Intelligence Analytic Specialist to join our team. The individual must be highly collaborative and will serve a key role in our organization providing reporting, data and analysis to all departments which delivers measureable business value.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement reporting solutions based on user requests
Consulting with stakeholders to gather information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and other requirements
Build reporting, dashboards and analyze data in BI application/tools
Monitor analytics and metrics results
Implement new data analysis methodologies
Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards or other tools
Troubleshoot the functionality and accuracy of existing daily reports to ensure accuracy
Manage multiple requests at a time
Special projects as assigned by management
Retiring legacy reporting and relieving staff of reporting effort
Developing creative and clear summary presentations of data and analyses to management
Supporting and ongoing design, development and deployment of our business intelligence and analytical solutions
Performing quality assurance and ensuring our solutions deliver value to users
Auditing accuracy of data
Developing strong knowledge of how our company operates, including how we sell and compensate our sales team
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Strong Excel data analysis skills
Strong Microsoft power BI skills
Advanced experience with SQL
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner
Analytical acumen necessary to interpret and manage data
Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff to identify user requirements and translate them into technology-based solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to present finding to all levels of management
General knowledge of database design and database concepts.
Thorough knowledge of project/task estimation and planning.
Experience:
Minimum of Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or comparable experience
Experience with data analysis and business intelligence applications, Microsoft Power Bi is a plus
Experience working with large databases
Experience with data visualization, data manipulation and building dashboards
Well versed in SQL/Query languages to perform data analysis
Experience with Healthcare X12 HIPAA transactions a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server
