Patient Service Representative Job Opening in Lees Summit, Missouri - The Patient/Customer Service Representative will support preventative patient care by specializing in scheduling appointments, maintaining database information, and attaining the highest level of customer service for all patients.
Essential Duties:
Requiring excellence in customer service and telephone etiquette.
Providing a helping approach, demonstrating listening skills, patience, respect, and empathy.
Calling patients to schedule preventative care appointments.
Using a personal touch to pleasantly and professionally care for patients during the appointment making process.
Delivering thoughtful reminders to patients about their appointments.
Processing information in a timely and accurate manner.
Utilizing computer software and following established guidelines to ensure accuracy.
Maintaining security and confidentiality of all information and records.
Coordinating with co-workers to accomplish departmental work assignments.
Striving to meet or exceed patient contact targets.
Improving customer service by recognizing problems and determining possible solutions.
Anticipating workflow and preparing accordingly.
Performing other position related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
One ? two years of customer service, call center, healthcare or medical office
Basic Qualifications :
Strong customer service skills
Comprehensive oral and written communication skills.
Must be dependable, dedicated, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
Strong Organizational and Time Management skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in various CRM Software and or Apps, MS Office (Word, Excel).
