Staff Accountant - Tax / Small Bus. Consulting Job Opening in Summerville, South carolina - Small, growing, flexible, and family oriented CPA practice in Summerville is looking to add a high quality individual to the team.
This is a 20 - 40 hour per week position. Hours per week and schedule are negotiable depending on the candidate.
Duties to include...
- Preparing both individual and businesses income tax returns
- Reviewing both individual and businesses income tax returns
- Communicating with clients
- Adjusting the year-end books for business clients
- Corresponding with IRS and State tax agencies
- Monthly bookkeeping for various business clients
The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- Prior experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for both individuals and businesses
- CPA preferred but not required
- Prior experience with Ultratax, Prosystems FX or Lacerte
- Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and/or similar accounting programs
- Hardworking and responsible
- Dependable
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Positive attitude

- Ability to supervise others
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
