Superwinch is the largest privately held designer, manufacturer and marketer of winch systems and accessories in the world. The Company produces a large variety of winch products including electric and hydraulic winches, power drives, accessories and hubs that are sold to both the consumer and industrial end-markets. The Company?s products have established sales in the aftermarket automotive, OEM, power sport vehicle, industrial and military markets.
As a Staff Accountant II, you will have a wide range of responsibilities including assisting with month end close, reconciliation of accounts, preparing financial statements and other duties as needed to support the Finance and Accounting Department. This role is within the Finance and Accounting Team in our Corporate Headquarters location in Tualatin Oregon and will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Complete a wide range of month-end close related responsibilities
Support the monthly close process by preparing assigned entries, reconciling assigned accounts and preparing support schedules and analysis
Record intercompany transactions with foreign subsidiaries and reconcile accounts
Review monthly inventory and revenue transactions to ensure proper coding and cut-off
Support cycle counting of inventory and implement best practices
Analyze inventory and costing data; understand the financial impact of inventory movements
Review work performed by other team members and report to the Accounting Manager
Support implementation of best practices and improve department documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and company procedures
Review and track performance of company capital projects as compared to the budget
Prepare and review department level statements to ensure proper coding of transactions
Develop reports as needed to support the monthly close and management reporting
Perform ad-hoc research and projects as needed
Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
5+ years of previous accounting experience required
Superior demonstrated ERP system competency within a manufacturing environment
Advanced excel spreadsheet skills
Experience with Infor Visual ERP a plus
Must have strong communication skills and be highly deadline and detail oriented
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Adept at handling multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and evolution
