Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter Job Opening in Torrington, Connecticut - Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HR participates in the coordination of all aspects of the HR function to include: development, interpretation and administration of HR policies; management of the process; administration of contract/agency staff and working with schools for the placement of students; performance evaluations and competency assessment; benefits administration, including monthly billing reconciliation, enrollment and administration of all leaves. Previous recruiting experience in a healthcare environment required.
Education:
Bachelors degree - required
Experience:
4-6 years of progressive responsibility in an employment\HR related capacity
Previous HR experience in a healthcare environment? strongly desired
Knowledge of recruitment practices, benefits administration, CT labor law and other applicable regulatory requirements ? required
Exceptional analytical and interpersonal communications skills ? required
Demonstrated computer abilities with Word, Excel, and within an HRIS system required
Licenses and/or Certifications:
PHR/SPHR desired
