Position Title: Industrial Insulation Estimator
Reports to: President, Construction Manager, Project Manager
Objective of the Position: Mechanical Insulation, Asbestos and Lead Abatement, Hazardous Waste Remediation, Fire Stopping, Noise Control, Specialized Fabrication Services,etc.
Primary Responsibilities: Must keep track of all estimates on a spread sheet and follow up with the General Contractor after sending in the bids and establish a good working relationship with the GC estimating department experience required in the HVAC field of estimating.
Key skills and capabilities: Organized, set up and manage files, computer skills, good communication skills, excel proficient, self-starter, able to work in a production environment, detail oriented. Be able to multitask, help coordinate and manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Be able to read and understand blueprints. Be well organized and able to meet deadlines. Work well under pressure.
