Heavy Equipment Area Sales Rep: Refuse Specialist Job Opening in Ankeny, Iowa - Trans Iowa Equipment, part of the MacQueen Equipment Group is the leading distributor in the Midwest of municipal and contractor equipment offering sales, rentals, parts and service. We are looking to expand an under developed segment and this commission driven position is designed to grow Refuse Division business for most of Iowa. This role will focus on: Units/Bodies, Parts products, Dealer Services, and Preventative Maintenance programs. Commissions are uncapped and geared for high growth. Outside sales with overnight travel expected.
Responsibilities:
Sell Refuse Body Units
Sell gateway products: Cart Tippers, Axles, Carts, etc.
Create and sell Service and Preventive Maintenance Programs.
Develop and maintain a database of customers, competition, and project information within CRM and CDK Computer Systems.
Forecast in CRM
Assist in the Equipment delivery and customer training of equipment.
Qualifications:
2 year degree. 4 year degree preferred.
2-5 years experience in B2B Sales or relevant experience
Effective written and oral communication skills, tech savvy
Technical and/or mechanical aptitude
Completion of 5-4-3-2-1 Sales Training when hired
Continuing Education in the Refuse Industry
75% travel of required and obtain CDL when hired
