Software Engineer Job Opening in Orlando, Florida - Responsibilities
5+ years of experience in Java development.
Experience building highly scalable web based frameworks.
Experience developing client/server web based applications.
Familiarity with modern web based frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap.
Use of cloud based services such as Amazon Web Services a plus.
Ability to write technical designs and coordinate the software development of the designs.
Ability to write code using sound programming principles.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience working in an agile development model.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Desired Skills and Requirements:
Java (primary language)
Javascript, GWT
Use of other scripting languages such as python, batch scripts, shell scripts.
Database related: MySQL, Derby, Hibernate
Linux / Windows development
Experience with message bus systesm such as ActiveMQ
Use of source control systems such as SVN, Git
Use of IDEs such as Eclipse for development.
XML / JSON / RESTFul services
Client/Server web application development.
