Night Audit Manager Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown is is seeking an experienced Night Audit Manager for our Front Desk! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
2. Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
3. Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
4. Input into the front office system to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
5. Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
7. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
8. Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
9. Respond to guest?s special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and accommodate groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.
10. Implement company programs and supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPS and LSOPs, maximize revenues, and motivate associates to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.
11. Supervise hourly associates during the night audit shift
12. Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and take action based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation. Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.
13. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be available to work during the hours of 10pm-7:30am Must be available to work nights, holidays and have the ability to communicate in English, can communicate well with guests. Positive, energetic personality, willingness to learn and commitment to support and advance the image and reputation of the hotel. Ability to multi task and keep up in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. At least 1 year experience as a night audit manager, preferably in a full service hotel establishment. At least 2 years Night Audit experience in the hospitality industry.
Additional Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in a night audit position, in a full service establishment preferred 3-5 years hospitality industry experience preferred role experience Experience with multi line phone system/switch board preferred Strong interpersonal verbal communication skills High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands: Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs on a continuous schedule. Able to stand for long periods of time, reach above head level, bend, stoop, twist and lift
