Office Intake Assistant / Scheduler Job Opening in San Diego, California - We are seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic, and motivated self-learner for our growing medical office.
Candidate is responsible for interacting with healthcare professionals and clients. Primary tasks will include, but are not limited to: Making and answering phone calls, Excel/Google Sheet data entry and manipulation, managing customer information, E-mailing, navigating medical record and scheduling systems, as well as utilizing company models for staffing proactively. We are a tight-knit group looking for a candidate to grow with our company, so stability and longevity are important to us!
QUALIFICATIONS
At least one year of office experience or equivalent work experience
Physical Therapy or Home Health familiarity is a plus
Spanish speaker
Ability to problem solve/think deeply about issues
Able to understand and follow directions
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently without direction (we don't micromanage!)
Reliable vehicle with up to date insurance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional telephone skills
Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
Ability to work as a team member in an open office environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs, with an emphasis on Excel/Google Sheets.
Operate basic office equipment such as fax machine, scanner and other misc. office equipment
Solid organizational and priority setting skills
Previous customer service a plus
Candidate must be flexible, able to work weekends and alternating shifts
BENEFITS
This is a full time position: 40 hours per week, $11.50-15/hr commensurate upon experience. Benefits plan includes 2 weeks accumulating vacation, 5 days sick per calendar year, health insurance, 401k after one year, disability insurance. Owner is flexible, environment does not lend to micromanaging, and there are company events/ morale boosting activities throughout the year. Internal promotions and high employee retention!
