Cendrowski Corporate Advisors (CCA) is a full-service financial and operations consulting firm with offices in Bloomfield Hills, MI and Chicago, IL. Since 1983, CCA has served Fortune 500 clients, closely-held corporations, private equity funds, banks, and attorneys. We are seeking to fill a bookkeeper position in our Michigan office.
The bookkeeper reports to the Accounting Manager, and works closely with the other personnel in the department. The bookkeeper is responsible for processing accounting transactions into the accounting system, and related accounting services, including preparation of checks, journal entries, and periodic reports. The position also includes other work as requested, for example, interfacing with tax preparers, client requests, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
Bookkeeping for small business clients;
Process accounting transactions into the accounting system (usually QuickBooks);
Preparation of checks, journal entries, periodic reports;
Take advantage of continuing education opportunities;
Assist with general administrative functions of the Tax Department;
Work overtime as appropriate;
Other job duties as assigned by the firm from time-to-time;
Must work well under pressure;
Must be able to maintain regular and punctual in-office attendance
Associate?s (2 yr.) degree required or comparable work experience
