Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Grand Rapids, Michigan - N-K Manufacturing, a plastic injection molding company, is searching for an energetic, detail-oriented professional with a desire to learn, to assist in the accounting field, along with general administration. Must have the ability to perform basic accounting functions and have excellent working knowledge of Excel. Plex Systems experience is a plus.
Essential duties include:
Assist in Accounts Payable
Assist in Accounts Receivable
Assist with customer invoicing
Assist phones coverage
Assist with NAFTA
Assist with document control
Assist with physical inventories and internal audits
Filing
Cost Audits
Assist in ad hoc projects
Support other departments when needed
Qualifications include:
Associates degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to meet deadlines
