Senior Sales Representative Job Opening in Freehold, New jersey - Responsibilities:
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
Draft and deliver proposals
Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
Continuously updating all prospects on product enhancements, industry information, and education-based marketing material
Enhancing knowledge on new products, procedures, services and tools by attending departmental and training meetings
Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
Report on sales activity, updating and tracking forecasting projections in Salesforce CRM
Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions with Salesforce CRM
Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns and engaging prospect strategies by studying prospects?? buying behaviors and other metrics
Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree or higher in either Marketing, Economics or any other related business discipline
5+ years? experience as a senior sales executive preferably in a SaaS software environment or high tech environment
Consistent and proven track record of success in closing business and creating and managing a pipeline of opportunities
A proven network of business contacts in mid- and senior-level management positions and a history of working with these individuals to meet business needs.
Excellent prospecting and presentation skills
Highly motivated, goal driven and energetic individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with senior level management in the delivering of reports on sales activity
Solid working knowledge of company software, technology and infrastructure
Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM system and sales tools and methods
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
