Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Chicopee, Massachusetts - Our manufacturing client is seeking an accounting professional, with manufacturing accounting experience, in the role of " Accounting Clerk ".

Your primary duties in this role would entail assisting in month end and year end close, assist in cycle counting, maintain work order variances, prepare and post General Ledger entries, account analysis and reconciliations, assist in A/P and A/R, and special projects as required.
Candidates will have the following experience and qualifications:
Proficiency in the MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc)
Strong work ethic
Detail oriented
Professional demeanor
Refined communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
Strong analytical skills
Positive and proactive attitude
General Ledger experience
Manufacturing experience ( preferred )
Ability to multitask
AS or BS Degree and/or 5 years of applicable accounting experience
Pay starts between $17.00 - $20.00/hour, contingent on experience and qualifications.
