Director, Women's Services (Labor & Delivery) Job Opening in Monroe, Georgia - As a leader at Clearview Regional Medical Center, this position is instrumental in creating a great environment for patients to receive care, employees to work, and physicians to practice. The leader manages the environment by hiring the best employees, evaluating and counseling to develop employees, and discharges employees who do not meet expectations. The Birth Center Director is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct and indirect patient care delivery in an assigned unit or units. The Birth Center Director collaborates with the CNO in the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel in the assigned areas and maintains operational aspects of the assigned patient care units. She / he contributes to nursing and the hospital through the support of nursing philosophy, objectives, education and research efforts.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia; Bachelor?s degree in Nursing; Master's Business Administration or Nursing preferred.
Experience: Approximately 3 to 5 years related leadership experience necessary in order to thoroughly understand nursing and related policies and procedures for assigned area, develop nursing skills, and acquire other skills necessary to lead and direct a subordinate work group.
: Current License as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. BCLS-American Heart Association Healthcare Provider PALS and/or NRP as appropriate. Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
