Urban Farm Sales Associate Job Opening in Redmond, Washington - Full time & part time available.
Keep It Simple Farm is a family owned/operated urban farm, feed store, and edible nursery (). We are looking for an active, charismatic people-person to join our team. This position includes retail sales of feed, soils, soil amendments, unique farm related products, baby , and nursery plants. Sales staff here enjoy a dynamic fast-paced learn-as-you-go team-focused environment, and we are always teaching each other new things to help up our sales game--and because we love it! This job is a work-out for the body and mind, and we have some of the nicest customers around.
Duties will include: Retail sales including greeting customers and helping them learn about our unique products & troubleshoot problems with plants and animals, stocking shelves and maintaining retail spaces, sales with Lightspeed POS software, lifting 50 lb. feed bags, caring for animals (feeding, mucking stalls, medical care as directed), weeding/landscaping assistance, cleaning shared spaces.
Requirements: 18+, able to lift 50lbs.; weekend availability
Knowledge of animals/plants/soil science a plus. Interest in/ability to drive forklift/tractor a plus.
