Sales and Marketing Specialist Job Opening in Kahului, Hawaii - Maui Oil Company is seeking a full-time Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team in our Central Maui office. Position Summary: Marketing and Sales Specialist is tasked with supporting the sales and marketing department efforts to achieve business goals for Maui Oil Company, Lanai Oil Company and Big Island Energy Company. This position is primarily responsible for generating and working with data to analyze business activities as well as managing the data systems used including CRM, Fuel Cost tracking and the Price Management Model. In addition, interfaces with customers and colleagues as needed to insure excellent customer service. Supports the GM Sales and Marketing as needed.
Knowledge, Education and Experience Ideal candidates will have an advanced Microsoft Excel background with preferably 1-2 years? experience with the ability to format worksheets, work with large amounts of data including creating conditional formulas and use various analysis tools such as Pivot tables and VLookup functions. We are seeking an individual who is driven and action oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, problem solve and analyze data with the capability to work both individually and as a team is required. A general understanding of the sales and marketing process with past experience using data base systems including CRM and Petroleum RX and past petroleum experience is preferred but not required. 1-2 years of experience interfacing with customers is preferred but not required.
