POSITION TITLE: Intern ? Accounting
REPORTS TO: Director of Shared Services
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position will support accounting department, and may include any/all of the following responsibilities:
Work under supervision of others
Help with month-end financial closing and reporting
Help with bank statements reconciliation
Provide support with accounts payable and receivable
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Enter data into accounting software
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This job requires: basic knowledge of accounting, attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Basic Qualification:
Pursuing a degree at an accredited university, ideally with a concentration in accounting or finance.
