Financial Analyst, DoD Job Opening in Alexandria, Virginia - MetroStrat has an immediate need for a cleared Financial Analyst to support an audit readiness engagement for a Department of Defense client in Alexandria, VA . This is an ideal opportunity for a CPA or CISA and other cleared candidates with at least 5 years of prior financial statement audit or audit readiness relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Developing system and business process documentation.
Identifying and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls.
Developing corrective action plans.
Providing process improvement recommendations.
Reviewing audit findings and supporting the remediation of the findings.
Performing internal audit testing and providing audit liaison support.
Assisting in the development of strategy and policy documents.
Clearance
Secret Clearance REQUIRED for consideration.
Certification
Ideal candidate is a CPA or CISA or in pursuit of one of those designations.
