Accounts Payable Specialist Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Round Table Medical Consultant ,LLC is seeking for an Accounts Payable Specialist . Accounts Payable Specialist will utilize hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance; or high-school diploma with hands-on experience;
At least 5 years of work experience in an office environment;
Proficiency with Quickbooks and Excel;
Working knowledge of Accounts Payable process and General Ledger;
Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines;
Needs to be a team player/work well with others, pay attention to details and be well-organized.
Duties:
Receive, review and record invoices and supporting documentation; verify and/or obtain approval when needed;
Credit card, bank and intercompany accounts reconciliations;
Record deposits, cut checks, scan and file documents;
Produce various reports as required by management;
Interact with vendors working together to resolve issues;
Other duties as assigned.
