OVERVIEW
As a scribe, you are afforded the opportunity to work side-by-side with a physician, observing patient care from start to finish. You are trained to provide real-time documentation during patient encounters, freeing the physician to focus their attention on the patient. From the paid month of training to the ongoing mentorship from the physician, you will learn a lot as a have immediate openings in outpatient clinics in the Salem area, in specialties such as Family Practice, Community Health, and an ideal position for college seniors and recent graduates applying to professional school. We have a number of openings throughout OR, both full-time and part-time. Most openings require at least 3 weekdays (~7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) per medical scribes are encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
Highly motivated and detail oriented- Senior status or higher- Preferred GPA of 3.4+- Strong computer skills with a typing speed of at least 65 WPM- Excellent writing skills- Pre-health graduates with A&P, medical terminology preferred- Medical work experience preferred

There are multiple opportunities in the Salem, Corvallis and Portland area. (Additional opportunities available throughout the Northwest, as well.)
