Database Analyst Job Opening in Shelton, Connecticut - Drug Screen: Yes Background Checks Yes Position Description * Evaluate, analyze, design and implement complex ETL(SSIS) solutions based on technical requirements for Microsoft SQL database. * Understand source and target data structures, ETL processes and products to develop Data Integrations * Work with Internal Application Development Teams to support, design and deploy changes to production. * Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business * Participate in the development of business strategy * Drive automation of Account Reconciliations and financial processes. Assist with Month-end Accounting Close for the eCommerce business where necessary. * Assist with automation of Month-end Reporting Tableau. Skills Required * Working knowledge utilizing Microsoft ETL/data integration tools (SSIS and T-SQL scripts). * Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and advanced logical methods. * Advanced MS Office user, with a particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills (look-up functions, VBA macros, complex logical statements. Skills Preferred * Some knowledge of accounting preferred, including SAP and Hyperion Enterprise. Experience Required extensive experience in developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and advanced logical methods. Experience Preferred Education Required Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent. Education Preferred
