Marketing Specialist Job Opening in Greenwich, Connecticut - Medical practice is seeking a talented marking specialist to join our team. The position will require clinical knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate that knowledge to prospective patients, referring physicians, and their respective staff. The Physician Liaison is responsible for building and sustaining relationships between our practice and our referring physician client base and community.
MAIN JOB
Conduct effective office visits in order to educate referring and new physician offices on services offered.
Work directly with referring physician specialties such as internists, primary physicians, OBGYN and other specialties with an indication to refer a patient for further evaluation with a direct focus on the continuum of care.
Proactively identify, create, prioritize, and pursue market development opportunities and patient awareness campaigns.
Identify sales opportunities trends and obstacles to growth
Schedule and assist in conducting lunch &learn meetings to educate staff on services
Cultivate and research under-penetrated geographies and markets to increase referrals and awareness.
Coordinate with directors to roll out new sales and marketing programs that encompass an array of marketing channels such as seminars, publications, social media, events and website content.
Provide weekly and quarterly summaries of performance against objectives set by Employer
Assist with administrative duties: scheduling, accounting and negotiating with vendors
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree required
2 years of sales experience required, medical industry preferred.
Demonstrated success in previous sales roles; indicating a high level of sales performance and/or successfully executed awareness and education programs.
Ability to become proficient in clinical knowledge.
Ability to inspire customer confidence and provide excellent customer support
A proven track history of expanding business
Expertise, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong project management skills and experience coordinating and executing marketing programs
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills
Confident and persuasive with a proven track record to work independently and team setting.
Host luncheons, dinners, and entertain prospective referral sources.
Ability to travel 60% of the time. This position is field and office based.
