Staff Accountant Job Opening in Shelton, Connecticut - A local company has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This individual will work closely with the CFO and should be proficient in Excel.
Responsibilities:
Invoice prior day sales by 9:00AM
Ensure lockbox cash is posted
Work closely with the CFO to track delinquent payments and ensure accuracy of AR sub-ledger
Use Amex portal to settle the bill monthly
Handle petty cash disbursements
Cash reconciliation, payroll reconciliation, and AP/AR data review and reconciliation
Prepare finance reports for CFO
