We are currently interviewing for a Digital Media Coordinator for our corporate office in Hollywood. The ideal candidate is a social media expert who has experience engaging target audiences on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and other Web 2.0 platforms. You must be an active user on these sites to be considered for this position. We are looking for someone who is digital media savvy that can stay on top of social media trends and knows who the top beauty and fashion blogs are. You should be familiar with utilizing social network platform tools and techniques to create quality online conversations and interaction. In this exciting newly created role, you will work closely with the digital department to create and manage an overall online social media presence for a globally recognized beauty brand. You will help cross-brand product launches and online promotions in-line with our overall digital and traditional marketing plan. Beyond simply social networking, this person must become a passionate brand steward for one the biggest brands in cosmetics. Responsibilities: � Manage social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. � Work closely with the digital and marketing departments to ensure proper messaging is being executed online and is relevant to organizational goals. � Support and protect globally recognized brand by ensuring positive messaging is maintained in community. � Establish consistency of message across multiple networks. � Manage online discussions by listening to users, reading between the lines, and responding in a timely manner to users needs and requests. � Monitor and track online sentiment about the brand on blogs and social media sites. � Prepare analytical reports to update internal staff on campaign and social media progress. Skills: � 2-5 years professional work experience (beauty/fashion related is a plus). � College degree preferred in business, journalism or new media. � Must have active accounts across key social media sites including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Bebo, etc. (You will be asked to provide links to accounts you have established and maintained.) � Must have exceptional traditional writing and grammatical skills and a flair for using "social networking speak" and online jargon. � Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly. � Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills. � Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team full of opinions and ideas. � Online search expert able to track and monitor posting relevant to the brand. � Interest and knowledge of the top beauty and fashion blogs. � Diligent work ethic and insatiable desire to expand skills and be the best.
