Accounting Manager Job Opening in Hillsboro, Oregon - Our Accounting Manager will assume varied responsibilities within our firm. PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Performs accounting close procedures (J/Es, reconciliations, analysis).
Prep of monthly financial statements & identification of material variances.
Provides basic analysis on financial results (trends, benchmarks, etc).
Assists in monthly cash forecasting.
Work with Senior Management to establish and monitor department budgets.
Performs general administrative/HR functions (401-K administration, insurance etc).
Assumes responsibility for automated payroll processing.
Works to improve accounting processes & instill proper financial controls, whenever possible.
Provides support on special and ad-hoc projects as required.
:
BS in strongly preferred, will consider Associate degree with most relevant experience.
4 to 10 years of overall accounting experience predominantly in small or mid sized businesses.
ERP systems experience preferred, Solid Excel skills are a must.
Must possess the demeanor and ability to function very independently.
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
