RESPONSIBILITIES:
IBM Rational CLM Support Skills
Ability to support Java-based import tools using the RTC java API (for importing of comments, attachments and links).
Ability to support RTC work item attribute extensions in JavaScript
Ability to write/support java plug-ins for operational behaviors in RTC
Domain knowledge in design, implementation, and administration of Requirements Management, Quality Management and Agile Development features
Experience in delivering training.
IBM Rational CLM Reporting Skills
Experience with full CLM Suite (DNG, RTC, RQM)
Experience with Jazz Reporting Service (JRS)
Experience with Lifecycle Query Engine (LGE)
Experience with Data Collection Component (DCC)
Understanding of basic Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, ODS, Star Schemas)
Experience with reporting tools like QlikView
Experience with Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) and CLM REST APIs
IBM Rational CLM DNG Importing Skills
Experience with Doors Next Generation
Excel and Word VBA skills
Experience with http protocol, REST/OSLC APIs and XML
Experience with JavaScript (experience with DNG Client Extension API a plus)
IBM Rational CLM RTC Skills
Experience with integrating RTC to Git
Experience with configuring and using the Eclipse Client for CLM integrations and bulk data uploads
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience required
6+ years of experience with IBM Rational CLM tool suite
6+ years coding in JavaScript
6+ years coding in VBA
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
Requires in-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid organizational, time management and judgment skills
Solid communication and leadership skills
Optional, but preferred - Experience working on Agile team, understands Agile team concepts in practice
Mission for Senior IT Platform Engineer:
To assist in the successful implementation, rollout and adoption of the IBM CLM tool suite as it applies to the defined SDLC.
Outcomes:
Assess and understands the current IBM CLM tool suite configurations, integrations, and customizations as it is currently deployed and contribute on incoming admin tasks (30 Days)
Successfully configure and rollout new configuration items (30 Days)
Successfully define, design and present new configuration items (60 Days)
Effectively develop and present new training on SDLC (120 Days)
