Van Driver Job Opening in worcester, Massachusetts - Van Driver Position Summary: The EcoTarium, A Museum of Science & Nature, seeks a part-time van driver for a 9 passenger van. The driver will pick up children ages 7-12 for our EcoTarium Summer Discovery Camp at various locations in Worcester. The children will be picked up at their homes Monday-Friday between 7:30 a.m. � 8:30 a.m. in order to be on site by 9:00 a.m. The driver will take the children home at 4:00 p.m. Three weeks prior to camp, the van driver will be responsible for contacting each child�s parent or guardian and tell them the approximate time they will pick up their child and return them home. The driver is responsible for making his/her own driving route. Qualifications: �Ability to drive an 9-passenger van �Must be reliable �Must be 21 or older with two years driving experience and have a driving record in good standing �Must have a valid Massachusetts driver�s license in good standing �Must be able to supply a medical history form �Be certified in CPR/First Aid or be willing to take a CPR/First Aid course provided by the EcoTarium �Multi-lingual skills desirable �Pass CORI and SORI background checks according to EcoTarium�s guidelines �Enjoy working with children and their families Responsibilities: �Driving a 9-passenger van for morning and afternoon transport �Coordinating route and transportation with the EcoTarium and participating families �Providing safe and timely transportation �Communicating any issues that arise during transport �Maintaining the cleanliness of the van and communicating any concerns regarding the vehicle Please send work history to: Human Resources, EcoTarium, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester, MA 01604 or email to Applications are due by May 25, worcester ma massachusetts
