Medical Billing Specialist Job Opening in Mobile, Alabama - TruBridge, a Healthcare Services company based in Mobile, AL is seeking applicants for an medical billing specialist in its Business Services division. This position is responsible for acting as a liaison for hospitals and clinics using TruBridge Accounts Receivable Management Services. They work closely with TruBridge management and hospital employees to ensure timely and accurate submission of insurance claims as well as to facilitate effective follow-up and receipting of insurance claims. Candidates must be detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Essential Functions:
Two years of Medicare Billing experience required
Two years of Medicaid Billing experience required
Ability to interpret/breakdown an Explanation of Benefits document
Work all billing edits that have been assigned
Spool and work commercial claims, both primary and secondary
Maintain audits for assigned financial classes
Work and maintain all sits assigned
Check out daily with site facility coordinator
Communicate any requested information to management staff via email daily, weekly, and/or monthly
Complete all tasks on daily checklist
Interpersonal Competencies
Maintain working relationships with other ARMS division employees
Excellent communication skills at all levels, from TruBridge staff to hospital staff
Professional appearance and demeanor
Set forth a good example of behavior and attitude for staff
