Human Resource Consultant (PEO) Job Opening in Orem, Utah - Zamp HR is looking for a talented Human Resource Consultant (HRC) to join our fast-paced, dynamic Orem, UT based company.
Zamp HR is a full service Professional Employer Organization (PEO) that is locally owned by partners with over 30 years of combined experience in the PEO industry. Zamp HR provides small to medium size businesses a full array of HR services, including payroll, benefits, retirement, HR training, and workers compensation. We are seeking a self-driven, ambitious, and professional Human Resource Consultant to join our Team.
The primary responsibilities of the HRC include:
Delivers HR expertise and makes recommendations to clients regarding benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, and information systems. Manages client activities and on-site visits to create and develop strong business relationships, retain clients, ensure quality service, and build revenue.
Supports and assist clients with unemployment claims.
Recommends, coordinates, and delivers training seminars for clients and their employees.
Builds strong client relationships and provides quality service in an effort to retain client base.
Informs and educates clients about HR policies, procedures, performance management, and employee relations issues.
Delivers presentations that meet high quality standards.
Develops appropriate strategies for clients regarding employee relations, disciplinary action, operations, and performance issues.
Assists clients with resolution of employee issues pertaining to leaves of absence, workers? compensation, and disability accommodations.
Maintains knowledge of trends and changes in HR legislation and conveys local, state, and federal laws to clients to maintain compliance.
Assists in orientations and Annual Enrollment meetings for clients. Understands details of benefit and insurance plans related to the PEO/co-employment relationship.
Advises the client on issues regarding Section 125, healthcare, and retirement plans.
Partners with Sales and Operations to ensure client satisfaction.
Conducts HR Assessments to determine client needs.
Requirements:
2-3 years HR experience working in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor?s Degree and/or CHRP Designation or in the process (preferred)
Above average written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Ability to self-manage and initiate task for completion
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws
