Medical Assistant Job Opening in Orem, Utah - Orem Internal Medicine is a private General Internal Medicine practice focused on providing health and wellness empowerment to adults in the Utah County area. We believe in treating each patient as an integral member of their own healthcare team. Our practice includes a full on-site laboratory, general x-ray, bone density scanning, cardiovascular, and other testing.

A successful candidate knows how to cheerfully interact with members of the healthcare team, including the most important member, the patient, while effectively and efficiently multi-tasking.
Our Medical Assistants are responsible for in-taking patients including; vitals, phlebotomy, performing EKG, and other screening procedures, and maintaining complete and accurate medical records with a state of the art Electronic Health Record.
We love attending to our patients? needs such as, telephone call-backs, prescription refills, scheduling procedures and appointments, processing prior authorizations, and answering portal emails.
Our Medical Assistants interact in a collegial manner with our providers and other staff in order to maintain a professional and friendly workplace. We learn to cross-cover each other?s duties and cheerfully fill in when the need arises.
This position is Full Time, Permanent, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
Requires Current Medical Assistant Certification, minimum of HS Diploma, computer literacy, proficiency with phlebotomy, excellent English language skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, a cheerful disposition, and a caring personality.
Spanish fluency is a big plus.
