Job Description
Department: Loan Administration
Reports to: Default Supervisor
Supervises: None
Summary: Responsible for collecting delinquent mortgage loan payments.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two year?s office, collections and customer service experience.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Word processing and spreadsheet experience.
10-key calculator by touch.
Bilingual Preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience with loans and/or real estate preferred
Specific Job Functions:
Contacts mortgagors by telephone and in writing to collect delinquent mortgage loan payments.
Counsels mortgage loan customers on ways to bring loans back to a current status.
Following loss mitigation guidelines, works with mortgage customers to minimize losses resulting from seriously delinquent loans.
