Flagship North America is a Consumer packaged goods company with Mexican food products in frozen and shelf stable channels (jar salsa). The company operates a 80,000 sf facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico with sales of $110 million, and employing about 375 employees. The plant in Albuquerque is part of larger company with sales of $200 million in the USA.
Our customers are: Walmart, Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Sam?s, Kroger, and many other retailers.
Main Functions:
This position reports to the Plant Controller and performs customer service for internal and external customers. Tasks involve interaction with shipping, receiving, and the production departments. Other tasks include order fulfillment and assisting the accounting team.
Responsibilities Includes:
Assist the sales department by mailing samples of products and works with the warehouse department to retrieve samples that meet the customer?s expectations.
Works with the quality department to evaluate product to determine taste and quality.
Manages and tracks customer orders for internet sales.
Provides effective customer service and problem solves.
Effectively communicates with other departments that impact the customer?s accounts and needs.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in customer service, or manufacturing related customer service.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Proficient in Microsoft Office ? specifically Excel, Outlook, Word.
Superior customer service and experience working with customers at different levels.
Ability to work well with others departments to provide the proper support to customers.
Excellent organization skills and time management.
Frozen Food experience a PLUS.
Must be able to work flexible schedule depending on the needs of the business.
