Medical Office Bookkeeper Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - Supports the Business Manager maintaining accurate accounting principles of all required tasks. Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, payables, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions.
Job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Full cycle Accounts Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices and maintaining customer and vendor records
Multiple Bank reconciliations for depository accounts
General ledger maintenance and analysis
Financial reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assistance with the annual budget and audit process
Statement reconciliation and discrepancies
Work Closely with Billing Dept to Research & Collect outstanding insurance claims
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Quickbooks & Excel software (3 years minimum experience)
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or 3 years equivalent experience
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Highly organized and detail oriented
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills
