Behavioral Healthcare QA Specialist Job Opening in San Jose, California - Behavioral Healthcare QA Specialist - For a residential program for men with co-occurring alcohol, drug and mental health diagnosis in San Jose, CA. Horizon South is a program of Horizon Services, Inc. This position is responsible for developing processes, completing chart documentation reviews, and recommends changes to the program management for accuracy and efficiency in documentation while following all program contract requirements and guidelines. Consistency and judgment concerning the documentation will be very important for organizing and providing management reporting. On occasion this position may be required to provide routine client case management services and to perform supportive administrative tasks. Experience: A minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a behavioral healthcare environment. The experience must be in the area of medical records, quality assurance, utilization review, program development, service evaluation and/or direct client care. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong verbal and written skills. Computer skills are required, specifically the ability to enter data and access information in Electronic Health Records. Drug Medi-Cal or Medi-Cal (Title 22) experience is a plus. Candidates with Bi-lingual skills encouraged to apply.
