A successful candidate will be involved in performing analytical and preparative procedures required for the development, purification, and analysis of antibodies and support products for use in the scientific community. Duties may include: ? Design, synthesis, purification, and analysis of oligopeptides. ? Synthesis and production of siRNA. ? Development, purification, and processing of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies. ? Perform mammalian cell culture for the purpose of developing and producing monoclonal antibodies. ? Characterize polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies using various immunoassays (Microarray, Western blot, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, cell/tissue immunostaining). ? Information management (generation and interpretation of reports, use of multiple databases, etc.).
