Medical Billing Specialist Job Opening in Lewis Center, Ohio - We are looking for the right staff to join our established but growing office. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple specialties. You will work specifically on medical billing and not be burdened with front desk duties. Leadership includes a clinician with over 15 years of medical billing experience as well as being the director of multiple rehab facilities; and a healthcare attorney that has over 13 years experience operating large healthcare facilities.
Information regarding the position:
Office based, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day between 7:00 am - 5:30pm; Saturday & Sunday flex time available

PREFERRED: Medical billing or coding certification
REQUIRED Experience:
Claim entry & submission
Denial & rejection management
Posting of claims
Phone communication with insurance carriers, as well as with patients regarding statements & benefits
Basic knowledge of Word & Excel
You must have the ability to process a claim from submission to finalization, including all steps in between. Applicants that receive an interview will be required to complete a test to prove this expectation.
