Staff Accountant (Medical Group) Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - Pacific Permanente Group (PPG) is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be accountable for the timely and accurate preparation of PPG invoices and financial reports; annual agreement reconciliation and external audit support; budget and reforecast support; and monitoring and maintenance of procedures and controls which conform to program and accounting policies.
Job Duties (to include but not limited to):
Act as primary liaison between PPG and MHS (Maui Health System) to ensure accounting and finance daily operational needs are met: generate monthly invoices, reconcile expenses, calculate HPMG pass-through administrative expenses in a timely manner, and respond to inquiries related to invoices or charges.
Assist in preparation of agreement reports, annual MHS audits, and annual external audits.
Ensure the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close of PPG financial reports.
Prepare the annual budget and reforecast for PPG.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field. Master?s degree preferred.
3-5 years financial accounting experience. Financial accounting experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Experience with financial management system.
Must have knowledge of General Ledger software.
This position will be based on Oahu with frequent travel to Maui.
